ThemeLounge #74 – Turn

Common Tern
What? It’s a tern, okay?!

Hi again, everybody, and welcome to the Turn show! There’s much excitement in this one as we welcome some new listeners and play some cool requests. Thanks to everyone who’s been taking part in the ThemeLounge conversation! This time out you’ll hear music from Weezer, Roxy Music, Was (Not Was), Robert Palmer and more.

Hmm…how to follow the Turn show? We decided we would complete one more phrase by saying TurnOff. And Off seems like an appropriate word to mark the end of our word-pairing exercise, so we’ll bring that to a close and start exploring a wider range of theme ideas. But for now, if you’ve got a super-cool Off song that you’re convinced would be perfect for the show, let us know! Send us e-mail to the address shown at right, post a comment here on the blog, or hit the “Call Me” button at right to leave us a message!

Use the Facebook and Twitter buttons on the right-hand side of this page to find us in those places! Please like and follow, comment and tweet, and do whatever you can to turn your friends into ThemeLounge fans! See you next episode, and thanks for listening!

Great show, as usual. I left a suggestion on your Call Me line (may not do that again–too nerve-wracking and I sound stupid!). Another good one is Rip Off by Ryan Adams
